When this service fits

Your tenancy ends this month

Marina leases turn over all year, but the last days of each month are crowded. Book the crew as soon as management confirms your lift slot, not the other way round.

You are moving tower to tower

Moves between two Marina towers are short on the road and long on paperwork: two permits, two lift bookings, two loading bays that should line up on the same day.

You are leaving the Marina for a villa

A move to Emirates Hills, Jumeirah Islands or JVC means one tower end and one house end. The crew plans loading for the lift and unloading for a driveway and stairs.

Movers in Dubai Marina spend almost all their time on tower apartments. The Marina is a canal lined with high-rise residential buildings on both banks, and the move that matters is the one from your front door down to a loading bay. We connect you with a vetted crew that does this every week and treats the building's rules as the timetable.

The permit and the lift slot come first

Every Marina tower runs moves through building management. You request a move-out permit where you live now and a move-in permit where you are going, often through a portal or community app, and each can take a few working days. Some towers hold a refundable deposit against damage to corridors and lifts. Many want the mover's details or licence copy on file before they approve.

The service lift slot is the real constraint. A tower may allow moves only in morning or afternoon blocks, only on certain days, and only one unit per slot. Ask which lift you may use, how big its cabin is, whether padding is required, and where the truck is allowed to stand. The crew then works backwards from that window.

How a good tower move runs

The crew arrives before the slot, pads the lift, and wraps furniture in the apartment. Wardrobes and bed frames that will not fit the cabin standing are taken apart. Wrapped items are staged in the corridor close to the lift, so every lift trip is full. Downstairs, items go straight from the lift to the truck at the bay; nothing waits on the pavement. At the new address the process runs in reverse, and beds and wardrobes are rebuilt.

Need the packing done too? Packers and movers handle kitchens, wardrobes and fragile items. Furniture assembly covers beds, wardrobes and TV wall mounts on their own. If you only have a few large pieces, a small move is cheaper than a full crew.

Heat, peaks and the view

Summer loading is best done early; a closed truck in the afternoon sun is no place for wooden furniture or electronics. The Marina's internal roads are slowest at the morning school run and the evening return, which crews factor in for tower-to-tower moves. And large windows mean large glass: tables, mirrors and framed art need corner guards and careful stacking.

Moving to or from nearby areas

Crews working with us cover the whole Marina, from Marina Walk and Marina Promenade to Marina Gate, plus JBR, JLT and Palm Jumeirah. See all areas, read the FAQ, or get a quote with both tower names and floors.

What the visit includes

  • Video or in-person survey, then a quote based on rooms, floors and large items
  • Lift wall, floor and door-frame protection where the tower asks for it
  • Blankets, stretch film and corner guards for furniture, glass and screens
  • Dismantling beds and wardrobes that do not fit the service lift
  • Staging wrapped items near the lift before the slot starts
  • Closed-truck transport and unloading at the new tower or villa
  • Reassembly and placement in the rooms you choose

Communities we cover

Tower clusters inside Dubai Marina first, then JBR, Bluewaters, Dubai Harbour, JLT and the communities a short drive inland. If your building is not listed, message us with the tower name and we will tell you whether a crew covers it.

Frequently asked questions

How much do movers in Dubai Marina cost?

A studio move within the Marina starts from AED 700, a one-bedroom from AED 1,100 and a two-bedroom from AED 1,700. The crew confirms the price from your list of items, floors and lift access before move day; packing, storage and extra slots are priced separately.

How far ahead should I book?

Ten days to two weeks is comfortable. Ask building management first how long the move permit takes and which lift slots are free, then book the crew for that window.

What will my tower ask for?

Usually a move-out or move-in permit request through building management or the community app, your tenancy contract or title deed, Emirates ID, sometimes a refundable deposit, and the moving company's details or trade licence copy. Rules vary by tower, so ask early.

What if the lift slot runs out before we finish?

Staging everything near the lift before the slot starts avoids most overruns. If a slot is clearly too short for the apartment, ask management for a longer or second slot in advance rather than on the day.

Are my belongings insured?

Ask the crew before you confirm. Some offer transit cover, some do not, and cover often depends on who packed the items. Keep documents, jewellery and small valuables with you.
